Amy Turman is from Dallas, Texas and attended Highland Park High School. She then graduated from Texas Christian University with a BS degree in Journalism. Before starting a family, Amy was an associate editor at D Magazine and Editor-in-Chief at Fort Worth, Texas magazine. Amy, the daughter of a commercial broker, realized that a passion for real estate had been so tightly woven into her fiber by her parents that she had to pursue a career in real estate. Amy intends to use that passion and excitement for real estate to help her clients navigate the home-buying process and to make it an enjoyable experience. She doesn’t want to just represent her clients; she wants to help them be better educated buyers/sellers. Her time as an editor not only constructed an eagle eye for detail, but experience in marketing and advertising that is invaluable to sellers. She is married to Philip Turman, who is from Tyler, Texas, and together they have two children. Amy is a member of The Junior League of Tyler, Inc. and the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors (GTAR).
